This past Sunday a rather large achievement was surpassed, I got level 99 Farming with a few friends and a few members of canting. Thanks to those who were able to show up with 5min notice.

Besides that I worked for about 2 days on Hunter and gained two levels, 89 and 90 Hunter. Snowy Nights are fast exp, upwards of 120-140k per hour and 91 should be achievable if I don't get to bored to fast.

In Runescape news another Double Exp Weekend will be Labor Day weekend. I personally will be training Herblore which should take a whole 4 hours out of the weekend. I still don't know what I'm going to do for the rest of that time... Maybe Construction maybe superheating gold? I also was able to upload 2 small training guides for both Fishing/Magic and Smithing/Magic on my YouTube accout: YouTube.com/coopee4

I have decided to continue with skilling until Dungeoneering pack 2 is released. Then once I can get my hands on a Chaotic Longsword and/or Rapier then train slayer. So, I finished with 77 Slayer and 112 Combat, I will most likely continue slayer in the winter.

I'm back to skilling and decided to get at those skills who have yet to reach level 90. I started off with Smithing since that was the closest, I got 90 Smithing in under 2 hours later.

Next up was Hunter, Agility would be the next closest but I can train both while catching butterflies with my hands. A couple of hours later and a few more bot reports and I had level 88 Hunter.

I had then at that moment remembered the Stated Effigy I had in my bank from a few days earlier. It required level 95 in either Herblore or Hunter. I am no where close to Herblore and decided that I wanted to use the exp myself and remembered one of the Og'loog pools boosting hunter. I thought I remembered +7 but was shocked to find it to be +9. I finished the effigy with a level 97 Mining/Smithing, I used Mining.

Also, level 78 Range and 82 Constitution were bonus levels I got this week because I was so close I didn't even anticipate that I was going to get them.

I'm going to get my Rune Defender back from when I lost the last one in PvP. I should get 90/91 Hunter today and maybe 90 Agility tomorrow. I am also having a small party for 99 Farming on Sunday at 6pm MST on world 36 hope to see you there!

August 6, 2010

I've kept at my work with Slayer and gained level 77 Slayer at my Living Rock Creatures task today. I also passed all my Attack, Strength and Defense into the 80's. No real celebration as hundreds of thousands have done it before me.

I'm also closer than ever to 99 Farming I am under 600k exp to go.

On a random trip to the grove I got a Raven Egg! It took an old friend 70-94 Woodcut back when summoning first came out to get one of these and I got it after 2.2m woodcut exp ^^. (edit: still in the oven I'll try to get a pic ASAP)

On another note I read an interesting article on Kitt Fox's blog reguarding what she does wrong in Runescape. I thought I would add my opinions on how to train every skill the most efficient.

Slayer
- super/extreme pots
- piety/turmoil from task to task, I use maybe 50% of the time)
- no cannon (I have moved away from this, cannonballs are pricey and I never see the return.)
- no Guthan's armor (Is this 2008 who does now a days?)
- clues = waste of time and exp
- combat familiars (Multi Combat area = Use titans)
- Always train combat skills with slayer!

Magic
- Superheating gold to 99 Smithing will get 99 Magic

Smithing
- Superheat & Smelting
- Addy Plates (don't use SC hammer unless you value your time under 1m per hour)

Herblore
- Best potions all the way to 99

Thieving
- Pickpocket/Blackjack to 91 then Plunder to 99

Crafting
- Green D'hide bodies
- Battlestaves
- Cutting Gems

Fletching
- Make bolts (Broad/Addy) while Woodcutting/Fishing

Cooking
- Salmon > Lobsters > Sharks > Rocktails

Summoning
- Use charms from Slayer
- Burst Rock Lobsters

Agility
- 75-80 Ape Atoll
- 80-85 Dourg
- 80-93 Adv. Gnome
- 93-99 Adv. Barb

Mining
- Powermine like a boss then get lazzy at Living Rock Caverns

Construction
- oak doors w/ servent little slower exp/ less cash
- mah tables w/ servent for faster exp/ more cash

Runecrafting
- graahking at 91+ for good gp per hour only use best 3
- ZMI for best exp with summon and all 4 pouches

Farming
- Daily Tree Farming
- Herb Runs

Hunter
- Barehand Butterflies are optimum total exp per hour

Dungeoneering
- Duo Mediums and 5:5 Larges remain the best exp
- kill everything for the best exp
- check every room
- Use the best 2h you can the spears are old news...

Woodcutting/Fishing
- Always drop fish/logs for best exp per hour
